Security & Confidentiality Policy.
Premier Services Australia Pty Ltd. Effective 15 October 2026.
1. Purpose and scope
This policy explains how Premier Services Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 87 641 535 168) (“PSA”, “we”, “us”) protects the confidentiality and security of information shared with us by email and in the course of our building, maintenance and fitout work.
It applies to all emails sent from a premierservicesau.com.au address, including any attachments, and to information we hold about clients, strata managers, owners, tenants, schools, subcontractors and suppliers. By communicating with us by email, you acknowledge the terms set out below.
2. Email confidentiality
Emails from PSA, and any attachments, are intended only for the named recipient. They may contain confidential, commercially sensitive or legally privileged information, such as quotes, pricing, site access details, reports and invoices.
If you receive a PSA email in error:
- Please notify the sender by reply email or call our office on (08) 6499 3977.
- Delete the email and any copies, including attachments.
- Do not read, copy, use, forward or disclose its contents.
Receipt of an email by an unintended recipient does not waive any confidentiality or legal privilege. Quotes and pricing provided to a client must not be shared with other contractors without our written consent.
The views expressed in an email are those of the sender and do not necessarily represent PSA, unless stated otherwise by an authorised director.
3. Information we collect and how we use it
We collect only the information we need to quote, schedule, carry out and invoice our work. This typically includes:
- Names, phone numbers and email addresses of clients, strata managers, owners and tenants
- Site addresses, access details, keys, alarm codes and lockbox codes
- Photos, reports and documents relating to the property and the works
- Billing, purchase order and payment information
We use this information to deliver our services, communicate with you, meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations, and improve how we work. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
4. Security of information and email
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. These include:
- Secure, password-protected business systems for email, job management and accounting, with access limited to staff who need it
- Multi-factor authentication on business accounts where available
- Keys and access codes held securely and returned or destroyed when a job is complete
- Staff and subcontractors required to keep client and site information confidential
- Records kept only as long as needed for business, legal and tax purposes, then securely destroyed
While we take care to keep our emails free of viruses and malicious code, we cannot guarantee that emails or attachments are secure or error-free. Please scan attachments before opening them. PSA accepts no liability for loss or damage caused by viruses or by interception of email in transit.
Payment and bank detail fraud
PSA will never change its bank account details by email alone. If you receive an email that appears to come from us asking you to pay into new or different bank details, do not pay. Call our office on (08) 6499 3977 using the number on our website to confirm before making any payment. PSA is not responsible for payments made to incorrect accounts as a result of fraudulent emails.
5. Disclosure
We only share information where it is needed to carry out the works or where required by law. This may include our employees, subcontractors and suppliers working on your job, strata managers and owners’ representatives connected to the property, our insurers, accountants and legal advisers, and government or regulatory bodies where we are legally required to.
6. Access, correction and questions
You can ask to access or correct the information we hold about you, or raise a concern about how it has been handled, by contacting us:
- Phone: (08) 6499 3977
- Email: jobs@premierservicesau.com.au
- Post: 8/2 Cooper Road, Cockburn Central WA 6164
We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
